Gardening is a metaphor for life. At one point in time we are all gardeners. Even now, in our daily lives we are gardening; raising and nurturing children and animals, growing our careers, searching for different fertilizers to enrich our lives, reaping the benefits of a diverse circle of friends, family and colleagues, and thriving in our own unique microclimates.
